4. Another Day, Another Love

Mary Fishburne Hayden was still a teenager when she sang this for me. This recording was never finished (you can hear that the strings are too loud in one part of the song, something that would have been easily fixed). Billy Orr did the recording, and I have no idea why we didn't return to finish the session, but I feel like it's a good enough song and a great vocal by Mary, so I decided to include it in the collection. Mary has gone on to become a well-known composer of musicals. Many thanks to her for recording this for me many years ago!

5. I Left the City – 1974

One of the first songs Danny and Bruce wrote together. This version was recorded at Reflection Studio in Charlotte, NC in 1974. It was part of a four-song demo for Hit Attractions. We revived and modernized this song for the 2023 album Stevenson & Company "Out of Time"

6. The Bathroom Song

Originally titled "Trapped for Life in a Bathroom by a Door That Don't Open Right" this nonsense song is just pure 1970's rock fun by our band, A L. Richard Band. Featuring Mike Fowler on lead guitar and Stev Guyer on lead vocals, this recording was made as part of a four-song demo for our agency (Hit Attractions) in the summer of 1974.

7. Pretty Woman’s Gotta Crawl

OK – the most sexist song ever, written by Stev Guyer, but hey, we just played the songs back then! If you like the southern rock sound, and you 're a little egotistical, you'll love this one! This was one of the four songs we did as a demo for Hit Attractions in 1974.
